In 2020, China will produce more than 9,000 tons of titanium tubes

In 2020, China's total annual production of titanium tube billet reached more than 9,000 tons.

The top three producing areas of titanium tube blank are Jiangsu, Shaanxi and Shenyang, among which Jiangsu accounts for about 70% of the total domestic output.

The military industry market remains good, chemical equipment counter-trend growth, titanium life supplies increase, with the overall recovery of the market, titanium pipe demand will continue to improve, with the 2021 PTA market pull, titanium tube market demand will continue to rise steadily.

After more than a decade of rapid development and industrial upgrading, our PTA industry has won a global competitive advantage. Global PTA capacity has reached about 100 million tons, Asia's first capacity, accounting for more than 88% of global capacity, China is more than 62% of Asia.

By the end of 2019, China's PTA production capacity had reached 54.38 million tonnes, with an additional 15.6 million tonnes in 2020. After the 2021, nearly 40 million tonnes of PTA capacity has been announced to be under construction or planned.
